What do the EnviroScape units come with?

Each EnviroScape unit includes a molded clear base; a colorful molded landscape top; all accessories for enhancing the landscape and activities; a detailed User's Guide including background information, set-up instructions  with a location map, specific activities to demonstrate pollution sources and best management practices, a glossary, and suggested related activities. Deluxe units come in a padded shipping box for ease of storage. You have the option of purchasing the heavy-duty carrying case on wheels or the nylon shoulder bag for transporting the unit, but they are not necessary.

What size are the EnviroScapes?

The easy-to-use models are approximately 25" x 30" x 5" in size when taken out of the shipping box and set up.

Why should I use EnviroScape?

Do the Groundwater and Riparian Kits work with all of the EnviroScape units?

The Groundwater Kit (liner and activities) will work with all the scenarios, except the Coastal unit (which comes with a Groundwater activity already in place) and it is already included as part of the EnviroScape Landfill.

The Riparian Kit was initially designed to work with the Wetlands model, but can work with any of the scenarios. Some modification to the demonstration may be necessary to use all of the riparian activities on other scenarios. Please call for more  information.

Should I order the Carrying Case or the Shoulder Bag?

Now called the DELUXE CARRYING CASE, the new case is made from a strong nylon material with reinforced sides, padded protection, wheels, a retractable handle and an additional side handle. It's much easier to transport, remove and replace the EnviroScape model, and much lighter to lift. Warm brown in color, the new improved Deluxe Carrying Case replaces the original case. It is shipped in protective corrugated box. If you are transporting or loaning out the unit a lot we would recommend the case.

The shoulder bag does not give as much protection, but you can fit the foam lined box it comes in the bag, so it does have protection. The shoulder bag carries an entire unit; has no padded protection; has velcro pockets inside for materials. Some people prefer the bag because it is lighter.

Who develops the EnviroScape scenarios?

All EnviroScape scenarios are developed by JT&A, inc., using a peer review process incorporating the expertise of at least a dozen experts in that particular field.

Are EnviroScape models easy to maintain?

Yes. EnviroScape can be washed with dish soap and water after use. The buildings, bridges, trees, cows, vehicles, and other kits are removable for easy cleaning. The durability of the EnviroScape models ensures that with proper care, the model will last through hundreds, even thousands of demonstrations.

What if I'm not satisfied?

In the unlikely event that EnviroScape or one of its add-on scenarios does not meet your needs, or if you're not 100% satisfied, EnviroScape will provide a full refund less shipping costs. Just return it in excellent condition within 10 days, shipping paid.
